Sand dunes are a constantly shifting aggregation of material. In this application an image of sand-dunes is applied to a façade using the technique of pixel rotation. This static façade plays with varying daylight to create a dynamic visual effect. Thus a physically static material object becomes a virtually dynamic immaterial phenomenon.
